Jeff Exinner is scheduled to announce his commitment on Friday, June 28th at 7pm. He will be choosing between Maryland, Syracuse, Michigan State, Virginia Tech and Penn State. On Tuesday, the Penn State football team was expected to receive an acceptance from four-star athlete Brandon Finney, who is a teammate of Jeff Exiner at McDonough School.
However, Finney’s recruitment changed course at the last minute and he ended up committing to the Oregon Ducks instead of Penn State. Earlier in the day on Tuesday, he received two FutureCasts pinning him at Penn State, both from Rivals insiders Dylan Callahan Croley and Marty Leap. But Finney decided to head west to play for the Ducks.
On3 has Finney as the #1 ATH in the state of Maryland. He is the #3 prospect in the state and a top-five athlete in the country (#131 nationally). He has played both wide receiver and cornerback but is projected to be a CB at the next level.
