kuala lumpur: Since its inception in 2017, the National Gallery has produced 138 art entrepreneurs through its Young Art Entrepreneurs (YAE!) program.
The programme will equip participants with essential entrepreneurial skills such as the fundamentals of start-ups, project management, promotion and marketing techniques, and developing an effective business model canvas, the Rijksmuseum said in a statement today.
“Participants will also have the opportunity to engage with the art market through various programs supported by the Rijksmuseum and exchange ideas during organized art workshops,” the statement read.
The YAE! program aims to equip and equip young art enthusiasts with the knowledge, skills and entrepreneurial spirit they need to succeed in the highly competitive arts field.
Additionally, the art gallery is inviting the public to participate in the ninth cohort of its YAE! program, themed “Embracing a New Chapter,” which will run from June 22 to July 8 at GMBB.
This ninth batch of 15 participants was selected to undergo an intensive four-month entrepreneurship learning session at the National Gallery Art Depot.
The “YAE!: Entering a New Chapter” event was presided over today by Mohamed Yusri Mohamed Yusof, Deputy Secretary-General (Culture) at the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture.
