Michigan football eyes elite 2025 receiver Andrew Marsh

It’s been a while since the University of Michigan football team has had an elite receiver come out of high school, and while the Wolverines have been fortunate when it comes to developing elite receivers, when it comes to the top tier of pass-catching talent, freshmen have typically chosen other schools.

That may change quickly.

2025 Fulshear (Texas) Katy Jordan four-star wide receiver Andrew Marsh was one of the players who visited Ann Arbor last week and Michigan Football made a big move to acquire him, a move so big that he has since received three predictions from On3 that he will commit to the Wolverines (Steve Wiltfong, EJ Holland and Josh McQuistion).

Scouting report from On3:

Strong-handed receiver with good ball skills. Listed 6’5″ and weighed 175 lbs prior to his senior season. Lined up all over the formation in high school, playing both on the outside and in the slot. Natural plucker, consistently catches the ball away from his body. Has very large hands and provides power at the catch point. Catches the ball with ease with one hand. Shows the ability to time and make high-point catches in crowded areas. Recognized as a good athlete, especially in the jump; recorded a high jump of 6’2″ as a sophomore. Needs to further improve burst, top speed and route running.

Marsh told WolverinesWire he plans to take the pledge in August or on Veterans Day in memory of his father, a fallen veteran.

Rivals has Marsh rated No. 41 overall, the highest rating available regardless of position, while the 247Sports Composite has him rated No. 48 overall and the seventh-best receiver in the country.

You can read our interview with Marsh following his visit with the Michigan football team here.
