New York Giants fans haven’t forgotten when Saquon Barkley left the team for the arch rival Philadelphia Eagles. Giants fans didn’t mind Barkley going to another team, but they felt it was a step too far.
The New York Giants’ running back corps will look very different this NFL season. Devin Singletary is projected to be the starting running back. Eric Gray and rookie Tyrone Tracy Jr. are projected to be the second and third running backs on the Giants’ depth roster.
New York’s running back corps has never been the strongest, but with D’Andre Swift leaving Philadelphia for the Chicago Bears this offseason, Saquon Barkley is set to be the Philadelphia Eagles’ starting running back this season.

Giants fans saw a preview on the team’s Twitter page on Tuesday, and there are plenty of storylines planned for the episode, which is set to premiere on July 2. It will be an offseason edition, and one of the big questions is what happened to Saquon Barkley before he left the New York Giants for the Philadelphia Eagles.

At the end of the trailer, general manager Joe Sean appears to be on the phone with Saquon Barkley about signing with the New York Giants. If Barkley is lying, it will make the first matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and New York Giants on Oct. 20 at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey that much more intriguing.
