Usually, if one insider buys shares, it’s not a big deal. But if multiple insiders buy, e.g. IG Design Group (LON:IGR) sends a positive message to the company’s shareholders.

It’s worthwhile for ordinary shareholders to check how many shares are held by company insiders. We usually like to see a fairly high percentage of insider ownership.
