The new global investment firm, led by founding partner Anthony Catacanas, is seeking capital to allocate across a diverse range of sustainable investment strategies, including industrial private equity, infrastructure and natural capital.

Katachanas, who currently serves as group CEO of Tower Peak Partners (TPP), will be joined by fellow founding partner Dennis Sedes as group CFO and CRO, with offices in London and New York.

The team so far also includes Wolfgang Bischoff, managing partner and group CIO, and Luke Apicella, managing partner and North American CIO.

“Already enjoying significant investor support,” the TPP plans to open offices in both Rio de Janeiro and Panama City to support investment in South America, Central America and the Caribbean.

The company’s investments include “leveraging its extensive expertise and global network to provide capital and support to expand innovative companies with proven technologies and support heavy industry.”

Mr Katachanas said: “There is a real opportunity to help provide the support and scale needed to achieve the industry transformation towards a decarbonised economy, whilst also increasing returns for investors by targeting an underserved part of the infrastructure investment market.”

“We have already received commitments and support from many blue-chip investors and corporations within our extensive global network and look forward to announcing further exciting developments later this year.”

Prior to his current role, Mr. Katachanas was co-founder and CEO of Victory Hill Capital Partners, where he was responsible for international business strategy and global private asset investments as well as institutional investment solutions in EMEA, and helped build and develop the real asset investment business of Asset Management One Alternative Investments, the alternative asset management division of Mizuho Financial.

He is also a founding member of the Energy Special Situations Group at Mizuho Bank and has previously worked at AlphaOne Partners, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank and ABN AMRO.

Mr. Sedes was previously Managing Partner at Victory Hill and Founder and CEO of Navico. Previously, he served as Head of Structured Solutions and Risk Advisory for EMEA in the Corporate Finance Advisory division of Mizuho Bank. Other roles he has held include Senior Advisor to the Board of Directors at Eurizon SLJ Capital, Portfolio Manager at Eiffel Investments and multiple advisory roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch Group.

Mr. Bischoff was previously Managing Director of Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners’ first growth markets fund for renewable energy assets and prior to that spent 16 years as Head of Principal Investments for Infrastructure and Private Equity Investments at Siemens.

Mr. Apicella served as a Vice President at PGIM and served on several investment and advisory committees and boards of directors of influential financial intermediaries and companies, as well as corporate committees such as Prudential’s Climate Change Policy Task Force and Environmental Task Force.
