On Monday, the ceremonial guard was removed from the parade at the Order of the Garter ceremony at Windsor Castle in England after a disturbance occurred during the parade.
In a video shared by Sky News on X, the guard stumbled and fell backwards, causing other guards to fear for his safety. He appeared shaken and weak before the fall. Other guards and medical staff quickly rushed to support him as he swayed back and forth.
Order of the Garter The ceremony, one of the most important events in the British royal family’s history, brings together dignitaries and members of the royal family in traditional dress. The event was established by King Edward III in 1348 to honour those who have made outstanding contributions to society. At 60, Lord Cucker is the youngest of the 21 current members.

Security guards were escorted from the premises. Reacting to the video, one social media user commented: “He’s probably eaten a sandwich from Asda, Boots or another company who couldn’t retrieve it straight away,” while another added: “Stop it, it’s common, this is what happens when you’re made to stand like this, leave the poor guy alone, this isn’t news,” while a third wrote: “So embarrassing, I bet he got teased about it later!”
