On June 9, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir when a bus carrying Vaishno Devi pilgrims was attacked. The Resistance Front (TRF), an offshoot of the Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) terrorist group, claimed responsibility for the attack in which nine people were killed and 33 were injured. Following this shocking incident, many took to social media to express their grief and sympathy for the victims of this horrific attack. Following which, “All Eyes on Reasi” started trending on Instagram.

People across the country, from ordinary people to celebrities, took to social media to express their condolences to the victims. “Heartbroken to learn about the loss of so many innocent lives. My heartfelt condolences to all the victims and their families. I pray for a speedy recovery for all those injured,” wrote actress Rashmika Mandanna. “Devastated by the horrific attack on innocent pilgrims in Reasi. I strongly condemn this cowardly act of terrorism. My prayers go to the souls of those who lost their lives,” Varun Dhawan wrote online.
