“I wish him the best, but the way he handled it and that we didn’t have time to discuss it really made me uncomfortable, so I’m just trying to take the high road,” Cook said. “He’s notorious for lying, and he lied to me.”
Ben Sofer’s wife Claudia Oshryrefuted the allegations on “The Toast” podcast in May. Oshley, 29, claimed Cook had refused to let Conover invest in Loverboy, and that Loverboy had no investors.

“First and foremost, all of my friends that I film with know that I raised the money,” Cook claimed during the Monday, June 3 episode. “The only people who were interested were curl [Radke]. “

Cook doubled down on his comments after appearing on Tartick’s podcast. “The more I think about it, the more I believe Craig, whether intentionally or unintentionally, has tried to rationalize things and mislead Claudia and Ben about what we discussed,” Cook wrote in response to Tartick’s Instagram post on Monday. “Craig has never asked me to invest, nor has he ever suggested I reconsider.”
