StartUp Hutch, a Hutchinson, Kansas-based startup support organization, is pleased to welcome Mario Hawkins-Myers as their new Entrepreneur Navigator. With a strong background in entrepreneurial development and small business management, Hawkins-Myers is uniquely suited for this important position.

“Hutchinson is a city that is home to over 100,000 employees, and is a great place to work,” said Hawkins-Myers, who will be responsible for advising and supporting startups, building a networking platform and fostering an environment conducive to innovation and expansion. With a background in successful businesses, Hawkins-Myers is confident in the potential of Hutchinson’s startup community.

His skillset is diverse and ranges from digital marketing, entrepreneurship mentorship, community service, etc. Hawkins-Myers’ ability to overcome multifaceted obstacles with a holistic perspective makes him an invaluable asset to the team.

With over six years of experience in digital marketing and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Kansas State University, Hawkins-Myers has a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the field.

StartUp Hutch introduces new Navigator

His academic background complements his practical expertise, making him perfectly suited to the dynamic and demanding world of digital marketing.

He is enthusiastic about his new role and aims to elevate Reno County’s status as a hub for business development. Community engagement programs, business events and encouraging open discussion are some of his ways to increase participation and boost the local economy.

Jackson Swearer, head of StartUp Hutch, said he is excited to have Hawkins-Myers join the team. Swearer believes Hawkins-Myers’ unique combination of professional and entrepreneurial experience will help spark progress and innovation within the organization.
