Local Monroe business receives $10,000 grant and $500 in LegalZoom services through program

LegalZoom has partnered with the NBA, WNBA and NBA G League to launch an initiative to support small business owners and emerging entrepreneurs. The Fast Break Small Business Grant program will provide $3 million in funding and services, aiming to provide businesses with the critical support they need to succeed in today’s competitive marketplace.
The program provides both established and emerging businesses with a range of resources essential to their success. This is a significant investment in small businesses and represents the largest funding allocation in recent memory.
Now in its third season, Fast Break for Small Businesses has become the leading grant program nationally. One of its recipients is Trike Training, a Monroe-based company that is revolutionizing workforce management with its innovative training program. Founded in 2023, Trike Training has stood out for its approach and is one of 30 companies awarded grants through the program.
LegalZoom’s Fast Break program goes beyond funding to provide encouragement to entrepreneurs. Having helped over 3,150 businesses to date, LegalZoom’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurship is a testament to its efforts.
Catherine Davie, head of engagement, impact and inclusion at LegalZoom, emphasised the importance of supporting small businesses through the Fast Break programme.
“In this economy, access to capital and small business services is needed more than ever,” she said. “We’re proud to play our role in supporting small businesses by providing the critical resources they need to thrive and succeed.”
The Small Business Fast Break Program will continue to distribute grants monthly through September 13, 2024, and LegalZoom remains dedicated to its mission of providing entrepreneurs with the tools and resources they need to succeed in today’s tough business environment.
