
Host John Quick Alaska show must read, It has its own podcast with a national focus. Small Business United States.
Quick launched the show earlier this year, interviewing successful entrepreneurs from around the U.S. Produced in Nikiski, Alaska, the show has been well-received by viewers across the country.
Currently 47 episodes Small Business in the United States Among his final works, Quick wrote a book outlining the key lessons he learned from these entrepreneurs.
This book is, Amazon/KindleIt quickly rose to number 400 on the Kindle Store, an online bookstore with over 8 million books in stock.
Quick said he’s amazed that his book has already hit number one on Kindle in the “Small Business” category, as well as first place in the “Business Profiles” and “Personal Success in Business” categories.
One of his favorite interviews is with John Hewitt, the billionaire who started with H&R Block and then founded two tax preparation companies, Jackson Hewitt and Liberty. On the podcast, he tells Quick that Jackson Hewitt sold for $350 million and Liberty for an even higher price. Hewitt is an avowed Christian and supporter of Donald Trump for president. When he started his company in the 1980s, he pioneered using computers to help people complete their tax returns, despite a common belief at the time that it was impossible. Hewitt still owns about a half-dozen companies that keep him busy.
Quick also interviewed Wynne Charles, who has cerebral palsy but has built a career out of it, writing books and becoming a sought-after inspirational speaker for corporations and sports teams. Despite her health challenges, she has carved out an amazing life for herself.
Quick’s first volume contains 43 chapters, and he said he plans to write a second volume after he finishes another 40 episodes of his “United States of Small Business” podcast, which has become a successful venture for Quick.
