While many people prefer the quick and easy method of whisking and frying eggs, a new video shows chefs getting creative with their delicious omelets.
The world of food experimentation knows no bounds, with different meal combinations taking the internet by storm. Now, a new viral recipe is ready to take you on a journey of wonder, offering a new twist on our favorite breakfast dish – the omelette. While many prefer the quick and easy method of whipping and baking eggs, a new video showcases the creativity of a chef who makes a delicious omelette. This omelette features two goldfish, and is creating a sense of wonder on the internet.
In this video, he starts by pouring oil into a frying pan and carefully placing two egg yolks in the center. He then cuts cheese into small balls and places sesame seeds as eyes to create the fish’s eyes. He then coats them in egg whites. He then cuts carrots into small pieces to create the fish’s mouth and tail. To mimic bubbles in the water, he slices green chillies and places them on top. To represent grass, he places cheese under the fish and adds vertically chopped chillies and coriander leaves. Finally, he uses white and black sesame seeds to represent sea stones. The caption reads, “Two goldfish accidentally jumped into a hot frying pan! Now what should we call this? Egg fry or fish fry! Let me know what you think below! Have a nice day.”
The video has been viewed almost 10.2 million times so far and has generated a variety of reactions, with one user saying it was an “amazing presentation” and another saying it was “so cute.”
“So amazing,” one person jokingly exclaimed.
“This made me smile and hungry,” commented another. Many argued that kids would have loved the innovative omelette. “Too cute!! Too bad my kids are grown up now, they would have loved this (fish emoji),” said one.
One user sarcastically stated: “This is a whole other level than when your mom told you to stop playing with your food,” while another challenged the chef: “Now show me how you put it on a plate.”
While this recipe was a huge hit, other experiments with omelettes have failed miserably. Some time ago, a street vendor experimented with mixing Parle-G into omelettes. This fusion became famous as “Moye Moye Omelette”. However, many were not very impressed with this strange recipe.
