Pakistani “embarrassing” singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan made waves with his cover of Noor Jehan’s signature song “Bad Badi”. Many content creators across the world have made reel videos of the song, drawing attention to Chahat. Now, singer Ali Zafar has said that he was “delusional” and “arrogant” to think that he had no competition.
Reacting to X’s post showing how Chahat Fateh Ali Khan’s ‘Bado Badi’ has garnered 19 million views in a month, while Atta Ullah and his ‘Balo Batian’ has hit 16 million views, Zafar wrote, “I confess, it was delusional and arrogant to think I have no competition. I am humbled.”

Who is Chahat Fateh Ali Khan?
Chahat Fateh Ali Khan, 56, born Kashif Rana in Lahore, rose to fame during the 2020 pandemic: His songs sparked meme fests and he featured on multiple talk shows in Pakistan. Jani Ki Shah, People’s demands by Mohsin Abbas Haider, The Honest Hour Podcast, etc. As per reports, he has also been invited for the IPPA Awards 2023. As per reports, he represented Lahore in two first-class cricket matches and scored 16 runs in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy in the 1983-84 season.
