Paul Robinson believes Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale could be on the verge of a move to either Liverpool or Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
The Arsenal manager provided Ramsdale with some competition by signing former Sheffield United goalkeeper David Raya from Brentford in the summer transfer window after the midfielder had a promising first season.
After just four Premier League games, Arteta decided to replace Ramsdale with Raya, and the Spaniard has remained in the team ever since.
This has led to rumours that the England international could leave the Emirates Stadium this summer, with former Leeds goalkeeper Robinson insisting he is open to a move. Liverpool It may be possible.
There are rumours that Liverpool may need a new goalkeeper in the summer with Caoin Kelleher rumoured to be heading elsewhere, while Alisson has attracted strong interest from Saudi Arabia.
Robinson said. Football Insider“I don’t think Aaron Ramsdale will go overseas, but I think a move within the Premier League is possible.”
“Chelsea stand out. Petrovic and Sanchez just don’t seem to be performing to the level expected of them. That’s the situation at Chelsea.”
“If you look at other teams in the Premier League, he would fit in with most of them. I can’t imagine what it would be like with Pope at Newcastle. Would Brighton be interested?”
“If Kelleher leaves Liverpool he has the chance to take the number one position alongside Alisson.
“If you look at the number of games Kelleher has played this year, he has the opportunity to get more game time and prove himself compared to Ramsdale.
“Aaron Ramsdale has to go somewhere and he has to play.
“He’s been treated badly at Arsenal and I think the way Arteta handled the situation was wrong.”

Romano is YouTube Channel“I’ve heard rumours in the last few days about Alisson and an offer from Saudi Arabia. I’ve been checking it out and what I’ve heard is that there were some approaches for Alisson around March or April to try to understand the situation surrounding the Brazilian goalkeeper.”
“The answer I got was that, although it’s never impossible in the market, there had been some approach at the end of May but Alisson is expected to stay at Liverpool.”
“Liverpool are not planning to change their goalkeeper. They are very happy with Alisson and Alisson is very happy at Liverpool. He is not desperate for a change and he is not asking for money. So at this point in time, Alisson is not expected to leave Liverpool for Saudi Arabia in the summer transfer window.”
