Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM-Bangalore) has launched an undergraduate course in Digital Business and Entrepreneurship. The course will be available online and classes will commence in September. Registration for the course will open from June 15.
The curriculum is designed to integrate digital technologies, business management principles and entrepreneurial thinking, equipping students with essential skills for the digital future and establishing a solid foundation for success in a competitive business environment.
Prof. Rishikesha T Krishnan, Director, IIM, Bangalore, emphasised, “The programme is structured in line with pedagogy and features a flexible exit policy. Courses will be conducted online asynchronously and will have pre-recorded content to cater to students from diverse backgrounds. Admission will be test-based and aims to ensure engagement and interactivity.”
Elaborating on the structure of the programme, Prof. Vasanthi Srinivasan, Chair of Digital Learning at IIMB and professor in the field of Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management, said, “The asynchronous elements will include faculty videos, prescribed readings, ungraded assignments and potential projects and interviews. Each course employs innovative pedagogies that put learning into action and assessments that focus on learner engagement.”
