For some, entrepreneurship emerges slowly, subtly hinting at a more prosperous and creative future. For others, the path is crystal clear. For Josh Haupt, the journey has consisted of many ventures, all of which culminated in Artsy, an innovative blend of cannabis, art, quality and vibrant culture.
His first venture as co-founder was Tall T Productions, a clothing company for the ski and snowboard market, gave him the funding to set up Superfarms, one of the first and largest recreational cannabis growing gardens in Colorado, and with the knowledge he gained he realized there was a hole in the market and started writing. Three a Rightis a heavily illustrated guide that opens up new possibilities for growers. “There was absolutely no information available on how to grow cannabis from seed to flower, and I was eager to share this knowledge to improve the industry,” says Josh.
His next adventure is with Three A Light. Nutrients for successa very specific method of feeding the plants that supported the cultivation methods presented in the book. Shortly after, Three a Light and Success Nutrients were both acquired by Medicine Man Technologies (a leading cannabis consulting firm) in a stock purchase for approximately $12 million, and Josh was invited to join the board and become a key executive at the company. During his tenure, he supported Medicine Man in the design and deployment of over 2 million square feet of indoor cultivation space around the world, including Germany, South Africa, Israel, Canada, and South America. As COO, Josh wore many hats from product development to investor relations, was involved in all areas of the business, and was essentially the face of the company until it evolved into Schwazze. When the primary focus became retail, Josh left the company to further his cultivation expertise and founded Artsy.

The inspiration behind Artsy came from Josh’s experiences with the books he’s written and the companies he’s run over the past decade. “No one was building the customer experience I wanted to achieve. There were very few flower brands in the industry that were trying to serve the top sector of the industry,” says Josh. Artsy offers just that: the highest quality cannabis that’s always breathtaking, from the packaging to the actual product, and it’s currently a top three flower brand in Colorado.
At Artsy Cannabis, quality and attention to detail are paramount, offering merchandise and products that support the art and cannabis communities. “Brands need to provide a consistent customer experience, regardless of industry. We go above and beyond, making both our packaging and the products inside a work of art,” says Josh.
A trusted destination for cannabis enthusiasts with a penchant for unique art and collectible experiences, Artsy remains a beacon of quality, trust, and culture in a crowded marketplace driven by money.
As Josh looks to the future, he is dedicated to continually learning from the tough times the cannabis market has recently experienced. He continues to encourage research into the medical benefits of all plants. “I think a lot of natural remedies are overlooked in Western medicine, and I’m excited to be a part of a more holistic future,” he says.
