Our Monitoring and Evaluation Manager, Benjamin Okonkwo, recently delivered the keynote address at the 19th Annual Conference on the Private Sector (CASP), a prestigious event hosted by the Government of Mozambique in collaboration with the Confederation of Mozambican Economic Organizations.

In his inspiring speech, Benjamin highlighted the pivotal role that the Tony Elumelu Foundation plays in revolutionizing eco-entrepreneurship across Africa. He detailed how the Foundation’s work is helping to address some of the continent’s most pressing challenges, including poverty alleviation, job creation, inclusive empowerment and sustainable development.

Key highlights of Benjamin’s speech

1. Poverty AlleviationBenjamin highlighted the Foundation’s commitment to supporting African entrepreneurs through various funding and support programs that aim to provide them with the resources and opportunities they need to lift their communities out of poverty.
