An Indian woman was posing for photos at Horse Guards Parade in central London when she touched a horse belonging to the King’s Guards, which appeared to become angry and bit her, causing her to stumble back in shock.
The video of the incident went viral online, garnering 1.1 million views on X alone. The man she was supposedly posing for approached her to see if she was OK, then walked away. The video sparked serious discussion as well as laughter.
In numerous videos of tourists posing, King’s Guard HorseThere’s a warning sign on a nearby wall stating that touching the horses could result in serious consequences.

“No one should ever touch a royal guard, not even the horses,” one user wrote, while another commented: “Don’t touch them, it’s not that hard, just admire them, be respectful, take a photo and move on.”
The woman was clearly surprised by the sudden attack.
A third user commented: “Royal Guard Horses don’t like to be touched or petted. They want you to keep your distance. I think there should be signs saying ‘Do not approach or touch the horses’. Considering where the horse pushed her with his nose I’m glad she wasn’t bitten,” while another commented: “I can’t believe there are still people who don’t know that you shouldn’t touch or disturb horses.”
