Shreveport Police arrest one of six armed robbery suspects

SHREVEPORT, La. — Shreveport Police arrest armed robbery suspect.

The Shreveport Police Department continues to ask for the public’s assistance in locating the five remaining suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on April 7, 2024.

On April 7, officers responded to a report of a violent assault at 2959 Round Grove Lane. When officers arrived on scene, they found an injured male victim of the suspected robbery. The victim was immediately transported to a local hospital where he was treated and is expected to recover. Detectives from the Shreveport Police Robbery Unit were immediately dispatched and began an investigation.

After extensive investigation, detectives have identified six suspects believed to be responsible for the armed robbery. The suspects are:

• 1. Cayden Thomas, 17 years old
• 2. Marke Willis – 17 years old
• 3. Desmond George – 22 years old
• 4. Patrick Stricklin, 25 years old
• 5. Donovin Simpson – 25 years old
• 6. Kiandre Dodi – 19 years old – Captured

All six suspects are wanted on suspicion of armed robbery, and the Shreveport Police Department is asking anyone with information on their whereabouts to come forward and assist police in making an arrest.
