George Mason University’s Donald G. Costello College of Business has named David Tarter executive director of the Center for Real Estate Entrepreneurship (CREE) and the Real Estate Development Master’s Program.

Mr. Tarter, an attorney and former mayor of Falls, Va., founded Tarter Nova Law PLC, a professional commercial real estate firm specializing in government rights, land use approvals, and billions of dollars. served as lead counsel on the transaction. of transit-oriented development and smart growth projects.
Previously, he was a partner at Lawson, Tarter & Charvet, PC, specializing in commercial real estate.
Tarter holds a bachelor’s degree and a law degree from the University of Virginia.
