The life of a six-year-old boy who was electrocuted in Ayyappa Nagar in Andhra Pradesh’s Vijayawada has been saved. The quick thinking and actions of a doctor in Andhra Pradesh turned a potential tragedy into a story of hope and heroism.
Video of the doctor performing the procedure cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on this young boy is now going viral and has earned her praise. The dramatic rescue can be seen in the video shared by @sudhakarudumala on her X. The doctor carefully pounded the boy’s chest in an attempt to revive him.
The incident occurred when the boy received a severe electric shock and collapsed and went into cardiac arrest. His distraught parents, realizing the gravity of the situation, rushed him into the street.
As fate would have it, the doctor was nearby. Noticing her panicked parents and her lifeless child, she sprang into action. Along the way, she began performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation, an important emergency procedure to restart her heart and breathing.

After several tense minutes, the doctor’s efforts paid off. The boy started breathing again, much to the relief of his parents and onlookers. He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital for further treatment, as stated in a post shared by @sudhakarudumala on X.
