Eurovision reveals the scale of the bullying campaign against Jews

I can’t tell you how often Eden Golan, Israel’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest, has been humiliated, attacked and pressured. We joke that everything is politics in Israel, but this week we’ve seen that everywhere it’s all about ignorance and anti-Semitism.

The anti-Israel violence by thousands of pro-Palestinian and Muslim demonstrators did not stop outside the walls of the Malmö Arena, where Eurovision was held. Booing could be heard during rehearsals, and other contestants were rude to Golan, bordering on harassment. The booing during the live broadcast of the tournament was so loud that it had to be excluded from the recording.

During a press conference, when Golan, 20, was asked a question, the Greek player theatrically yawned and pretended to be asleep. A Polish journalist accused Golan of endangering other participants. The Danish candidates bullied the Israeli delegation, refusing to attend rehearsals and forcing the Israeli delegation to be moved to a separate rehearsal room.

Last year’s winner said that if Golan won, he would not agree to go on stage with him. Despite this, Golan took to the stage excited, motivated and focused. The bullying and hatred created a reaction that was the opposite of what was initially expected, and Israel became one of the favorites to win.

Eurovision is known as an event for diversity and inclusion. The Jewish community, including here in Israel, embraces this event every year. This year’s performance went far beyond the definition of liberalism.

Just as “Queer Palestine” is a delusional joke of history, so are the young American feminists fighting for Hamas. The irony of this is hard to miss.

In Malmö, bullying, hatred, ignorance and hypocrisy were all brought together in one event, ostensibly a singing contest.

But while we say “it’s all politics,” it is clear that the riots do not actually reflect the views of the general public, who in many countries showed great support for Golan.

The violence of European demonstrators, many of whom are Muslim, has deterred many Europeans. “Building An Alternative” connects women leaders from dozens of cities around the world. They argue that local residents are more involved in pro-Israel silent marches and protests than in violent pro-Palestinian protests.

But we are in the midst of a multi-billion dollar global branding campaign based on false narratives that has led millions of people to believe that the truth is a lie and the lie is truth. I’m here.

This is how a young woman who competed in a singing competition finds herself in a situation where she has to face a violent “progressive” world fighting for a religious Islamic fundamentalist regime. Its representatives are not allowed to survive in Gaza for even an hour without being expelled from the Strip. Roof (especially the costumes when they went on stage). A keffiyeh nail design like the one shown by the Portuguese national team would be of no use if she fell into the hands of Hamas.

I do not believe that the demonstration was spontaneous. On October 8th, demonstrators had already started their activities in advance and were already prepared with placards and slogans.

As someone who leads protests, I know how much time it takes to decide on a message and create signs. Here we have a metaphorical rear-wheel drive car, ready to go within 24 hours of the massacre.

How could European feminists, who would normally understand this shocking bullying of a young woman who just wanted to sing, choose not to stand by her?

I’m amazed that liberal feminists in the United States, instead of taking to the streets to protest the state-by-state loss of control over their own bodies, are focusing their efforts on the pro-Palestinian struggle. There is. For the benefit of Hamas terrorists.

The swing of the pendulum is likely to result in conservative forces seizing power in the United States in response to violent protests in the name of “progressives” who are currently siding with Hamas.

The backlash against the ultra-progressive and now violent trend will be evident in the next election. We are facing global change. Progressives had better wake up before it’s too late.

Golan ultimately finished fifth despite being almost completely ignored by the judging team. However, there was great support from the local Europeans’ scores. Perhaps there is room for hope.
