Selection criteria:
To be eligible, applicants had to have female founders of color and be registered businesses. Greater Chicago metropolitan areas, operated for at least two years and with at least $25,000 Sales for the most recent fiscal year. Their business model had to demonstrate high growth potential and serve a trending market.
