Shanghai, China – Media OutReach Newswire – 17 May 2024 – The 2024 Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards (APEA) China will focus on revisionist enterprises and entrepreneurs who have introduced initiatives and strategies aimed at fostering an inclusive entrepreneurial community. Trendsetters in Asia’s business ecosystem are championing inclusivity and breaking down barriers for underrepresented groups. Organized by leading regional NGO Enterprise Asia, APEA’s aim is to promote continued sustainable entrepreneurial growth in Asian economies. Kelvin Poo, Group CEO of Eagle Renewable Energy (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., is one of the awardees in the Master Entrepreneur category. Currently the founder, managing director and CEO of Eagle Renewable Energy (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in Singapore, he has over 20 years of experience in entrepreneurship and business operations management. From 2020 to 2023, Kelvin Poo led the company’s professional design, technology and engineering team to not only complete the investment and construction of a 2.953MW distributed solar power plant in Vietnam, but also completed a 4MW distributed solar power project in Suzhou, which was jointly invested with Jianghua New Energy Group. Other similar new energy power plant projects, such as the 300MW centralized agricultural solar power project in Yangchun City, Guangdong Province, which was implemented at the provincial level, have also been signed and successfully launched. As an aside, the company also launched its own photovoltaic module brand, EagleRE. Kelvin Poo’s motto is to always keep up with the times, create a win-win situation together, and continuously strive to serve the public. When discussing the major challenges facing entrepreneurs, Kelvin Poo is very concerned about the changes in the market and attaches great importance to maintaining the financing chain. He would like to advise other entrepreneurs to adapt to the market with sharp operational skills and constantly make adjustments to suit the interests of key organizations such as banks, financial institutions, suppliers and partners. Kelvin Poo wants to build Eagle Renewable Energy (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. into a new energy platform enterprise in the Asia-Pacific region. It will continuously promote renewable energy and new technologies. It will also contribute to the pursuit of global carbon neutrality and is a development model where enterprises and social responsibility work together.
