
SHREVEPORT, LA – A free, community-wide program that teaches children entrepreneurial skills through running their own lemonade stand will be held on May 18, 2024.
The Lemonade Day Shreveport-Bossier City program is presented by Cohab, whose executive director Jessica Schiele appeared on KTBS3 to provide more information.
Registration is now open for children who want to learn valuable lessons in financial literacy, problem solving, entrepreneurship, and more. Participants can sign up at any of the Cadence Bank Branch, Cafe Boba Tea, or Boba Xpres areas to receive a free backpack and workbook.

The community is invited to support these young entrepreneurs by finding lemonade stands and purchasing lemonade on May 18th.

Lemonade Day Shreveport-Bossier City At the end of the season, a Young Entrepreneur of the Year will be selected and awarded a $500 cash prize, courtesy of Louisiana Economic Development. There will also be a $250 Most Innovative Stand Award, courtesy of MersaTech. .
The Shreveport-Bossier City Young Entrepreneur of the Year will continue to compete on a national level.
