Billionaire Gautam Singhania was recently spotted driving a McLaren 750S supercar in Mumbai. Raymond Group’s chairman and managing director is known as a supercar enthusiast and has a large collection of supercars.
The businessman was spotted behind the wheel of a catchy orange and black luxury car on a busy road in the city. The moment was captured in a video shared on a YouTube channel called CS 12 vlogs.
Singhania operates Super Car Club Garage (SCCG) in Thane, offering restoration, maintenance, repair and customization of sports cars, supercars, luxury cars and vintage cars. He visits the center twice a week. Last year, the car enthusiast also launched his GS Design, which offers supercar customization.
Last August, Singhania slammed the Maserati MC20 supercar, calling it the “worst” car he had ever driven. He also warned anyone considering driving that it was dangerous.
“Frankly, I paid for a Maserati and got a lemon instead,” said Singhania, whose car bounced like a soccer ball as he got behind the wheel. The company added that this was due to the road conditions in India.
He also called on the company to appoint an independent test driver to check the safety of the model.
According to Forbes, Singhania’s net worth is $1.4 billion.
