WASHINGTON — Vice President Kamala Harris was presented with tickets to one of last summer’s most high-profile concerts by Beyoncé herself. She also attended college football’s HBCU Celebration Bowl, where her alma mater Howard University faced Florida A&M, according to her financial disclosure report released Wednesday, courtesy of ESPN.
Harris and husband Doug Emhoff attended a Renaissance World Tour concert at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland, in August. She posted a photo of the two on Instagram. “Thank you @Beyoncé for a fun date night,” she wrote. The ticket was valued at $1,655.92, according to the disclosure. The December football game was held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Florida A&M won, and the ticket Harris received was worth $1,890.
Disclosures of personal financial information by the President and Vice Presidents are published annually. Neither party reports any conflicts of interest.
Both President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden earned minimal incomes beyond their presidential and teacher salaries — between $0 and $60,000 in royalties from books, retirement accounts, and IRA distributions. It was $4300. They owe between $375,000 and $815,000 in mortgages and loans. However, the Bidens also reported having at least $1 million in assets, including their retirement plans.
Apart from concert tickets, Harris and Emhoff reported income of $117,000 in royalties and cash and income from retirement accounts. The two also buy and sell stocks and have assets worth at least $2.89 million.
Former President Donald Trump’s lawyers requested a 45-day extension of financial disclosure “due to the complexity of his financial holdings,” according to documents filed with the Federal Election Commission. The agency granted the request and Trump’s report is expected to be submitted by July 1. Trump filed his annual disclosure report last year.
