The internet is the gift that keeps on giving. A video of a man nicknamed “Hammock Guy” is currently going viral on social media. He received this nickname because he refused to surrender the DIY hammock he had installed inside a bus in Los Angeles.
The video also showed a passenger along with the bus driver asking the man to get on the bus. hammock How depressed he was and how he continued to refuse. He claims there are no signs saying men can’t put hammocks on the bus. “Where is the sign prohibiting hammocks?” the man asked.
The man snuggled closer into the hammock as passengers on the bus continued to yell, “Get off, get off!”
At one point in the video, the man spins around in his hammock, prompting laughter. When the trip was interrupted by this act of defiance, a passenger was heard saying, “Can you please get off to get to your destination?”

On X, the video received over 43.9K views. One user said: “This is really funny.” Another user commented, “When you do a full spin & repeat.” A third user wrote: “I really appreciate social media at times like this.” Another user said: “Wow, it’s been years since I laughed this much.”
“I was late for work! I told my boss that the guy sitting in the hammock on the bus was holding it up,” a fifth user wrote.
