Businessman Anand Mahindra, who is popular for sharing inspirational videos, shared his motivation on Monday with X. This week, Mahindra shared a video of Joanna Kuas, the world’s oldest gymnast, as motivation.
The video shows the 98-year-old Kuas performing flawless gymnastics at the event. While sharing the video, Mahindra wrote, “98 years old. Yes, Joanna Quass she is 98 years old. Please never say she is dead”. She is my #Monday motivation.”

The video had over 37,000 views and several reactions, including one comment: “Someone correctly said age is just a number.” Another user wrote, “Yes, your post certainly contains many inspiring stories that give us very positive inspiration.”
“Never say you’re going to do something when you’re older. Age shouldn’t be an excuse or a barrier to achieving your best goals,” a third user reacted.
Who is Joanna Kuas?
Born on November 20, 1925, Johanna Kuas entered her first competition at the age of ten. In 2012, she won the Kuas Award, making her the oldest gymnast ever, and she is currently also a regular athlete in the amateur competition Landes Seniorsenspiele.
According to the report, bright sight, Kuas strives to eat a healthy diet that includes plenty of vegetables. Even though she does gymnastics twice a week, she exercises for an hour every day, usually while taking a walk or swimming. “I have no health concerns at all. My body has been trained to the point where I am comfortable doing all these exercises and movements,” she said.
She spent most of her life as a gymnastics coach and handball player, but returned to active gymnastics at the age of 56. She received the Nadia Comaneci Sportsmanship Award from the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame in 2015 and then retired from her competitive career in 2018. A torn tendon in her bicep.
