Former President Donald Trump’s youngest son Barron Trump has been selected by the Florida Republican Party to be Florida’s at-large delegate to the Republican National Convention, according to a list of delegates obtained by CNN.
Barron joins several other family members who were also selected, including Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump, and Tiffany Trump. Trump’s longtime friend and luxury real estate developer Steve Witkoff and Trump ally Sergio Go are also listed as delegates.
CNN has reached out to the Trump campaign for comment.

Before Donald Trump’s hush money criminal trial began, his lawyers asked for May 17th leave so he could attend Barron’s graduation ceremony. A judge said last month that things were moving quickly enough that Trump didn’t have to be in court that day so he could attend the graduation ceremony.
The Republican National Committee will hold its convention in Milwaukee in July. Last month, the RNC asked the Secret Service to keep protesters further away from the convention than currently planned.
RNC attorney Todd Stegelda said in a letter that the city of Milwaukee’s current proposal “increases the safety risks to participants into intolerable” and would keep demonstrators within a one-block park. Deploying them would “force the evacuation of thousands of peaceful protesters and demonstrators,” he wrote. Very close, consistently unavoidable proximity. ”
“Operational security plans for national special security events, including the 2024 Republican National Convention, will be developed and approved through an executive steering committee comprised of Secret Service representatives, as well as support from federal, state, and local agencies. ” Secret Service spokesperson Alexi Worley said in a statement at the time. “Our operational security plan is based on a range of thorough security assessments established in conjunction with our partners, with a clear mandate to ensure the highest level of safety and security at the Games.”
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has said he will likely announce his running mate around the time of the RNC convention in July, and has floated several names publicly and privately.
