Mr Sunak tells Mr Starmer: ‘You can be as cocky as you like’ after Conservative election defeat

Rishi Sunak has warned Sir Keir Starmer that he can be “as cocky as he wants” after local election results, but that when it comes to a general election “it’s all about policy”. Mr Sunak echoed Tony Blair’s famous words to the Labor leader during Prime Minister’s Questions on Wednesday, May 8, after Lord Keir started a clash by welcoming Natalie Elphike and Chris Webb to the Labor benches.
