Fish rain is an interesting phenomenon caused by fountains lifting small marine creatures. The rare event was reported in Iran on Monday amid heavy rain in the Yasuj region. A video of this incident is going viral on social media and has piqued the interest of users.
The video begins with several fish falling from the sky into a passing car. The man filming “Fish Rain” can be seen jumping for joy. X user Mario Naufal shared the video and wrote, “This unusual phenomenon is thought to be caused by a tornado scooping up fish from the ocean and throwing them up into the sky, where it rains later.” Ta.
Another user also shared the same video and wrote, “Suddenly… it rained fish in Iran. This happened after it rained in the city of Yasuj in Iran and then fish suddenly fell on the residents who were on the streets of the city.” .The reason is still unknown.

Iran’s Meteorological Organization warned that a new wave of precipitation would occur starting Sunday and spread to other regions. One of the worst-affected areas is Shabesta Governorate in East Azerbaijan.
