In a 2004 TV show hosted by Doordarshan Chandigarh, then 15-year-old Parineeti Chopra was seen singing patriotic songs.
Doordarshan was the only TV channel available until the early 90s when the then Indian government decided to open up the market to private companies and cable television took the country by storm. And that was a big deal. However, Doordarshan’s popularity has declined over the years as new channels have launched.
A video currently going viral on Instagram contains footage from the Doordarshan Chandigarh show that was telecast in 2004. parineeti choprawho was only 15 years old at the time and was singing along with other children.

It’s like a time machine, transporting us back to simpler times. People online are buzzing about this and are reminiscing about the days when they used to watch Doordarshan. Many users wondered why Chopra hadn’t changed much since those days.
