SAN ANGELO, Texas — The winners of the 2024 BizPitch Student Entrepreneurship Competition were announced by Angelo State University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and Norris Vincent College of Business ( Published by NVCOB). .
The competition began in January, with individual ASU students or teams of up to four students invited to submit a video pitch for an idea for starting a new business. A panel of ASU business faculty and her SBDC experts selected her five finalists who will give live pitch presentations to a panel of judges comprised of local business professionals.
The winners of the 2024 BizPitch contest are:
1st place ($2,500 prize) – Helm AV Services
Samuel Helm of San Angelo, majoring in business administration.
Business Tagline: “Speak Up.”
2nd place ($1,500 prize) – Citroshine
Lin Bui of San Angelo, finance major;
Business tagline: “Our Health, Our Environment, Our Next Generation.”
3rd place ($1,000 prize) – Pathfinder Technical Support
Cole Ballard, Burnett College, majoring in computer science
Braxton Fox of San Angelo, majoring in computer science.
Business tagline: “Turn technical frustration into confidence.”
Finalist ($250 prize) – Precision Planning
Emily Nadeau of Abilene, management major;
Business tagline: “Plan smarter, achieve more.”
Finalist ($250 prize) – Trends that changed their style
Zandria Delacruz of Sweetwater, business administration major.
Business tagline: “Fashion Reborn: Style with a Purpose.”
During the final event, each finalist gave a live 8-minute presentation to the judges and answered questions. The prize money will be available to the winner to use as seed money for a new business.

The BizPitch competition provides ASU students with the opportunity to learn through interaction with SBDC business advisors and ASU faculty mentors and alumni who are successful in business, while promoting and fostering student entrepreneurship at the university. The purpose is that.
