Collaboration to provide essential domain tools to students and faculty: VC

SRINAGAR: To foster entrepreneurship among the youth, University of Kashmir (KU) on Monday announced a strategic partnership with Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad. This partnership aims to foster a dynamic startup ecosystem in the region.
Dr. Sartaj Hussain, Coordinator, NewGen IEDC (Incubation Center), KU, who recently visited the EDII Ahmedabad campus, spoke to EDII Executive Director Dr. Sunil Shukla and EDII Entrepreneurship Education Director Satya We had a discussion with Professor Ranjan Acharya. Regarding the education and support system of Kashmir University, an official statement issued here reads:
“EDII, recognized as the national resource institution for entrepreneurship, will develop a sustainable entrepreneurship environment in Jammu and Kashmir, expand faculty support, provide entrepreneurship training and “We have worked hard to design specialized courses in the field,” a spokesperson said in a statement.
In addition, EDII will offer a mentorship and winter contact program on campus with expert guidance and financial support for trainees, the spokesperson said.
“This collaboration represents a significant partnership between the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, University of Kashmir and EDII Ahmedabad, with the common goal of scaling up entrepreneurial efforts in the region,” the statement said. has been written.
KU Vice-Chancellor Professor Nilofer Khan termed the collaboration as a “milestone” in the university’s mission to foster entrepreneurship and innovation in Kashmir.
“With this partnership, we are poised to provide our students and faculty with the essential tools to succeed in the realm of entrepreneurship,” added Professor Khan.
KU Registrar Prof. Nasser Iqbal expressed satisfaction with the efforts to formalize this collaboration, saying it “heralds a new era of entrepreneurship and economic prosperity in the region.” I believe it will happen.”
Dr. Sunil Shukla, Executive Director, EDII, said that EDII is pleased to support and strengthen KU’s commendable efforts.
“This rewarding association will harness the creative potential of our youth and lead them to great entrepreneurial growth,” he added.
