He brings a lot of talent to an already impressive roster, and it feels like winning right away won’t be a problem for the first-year head coach out of Duke University.
While the focus remains on finishing the spring transfer window on a high note, Elco are keeping an eye on the 2025 recruiting class, with 10 signings as of April 30th.
It seems like that number will increase soon.
In fact, the Aggies took three crystal balls on 247Sports to acquire Coby Sellers, so he’s trending to be one of the top cornerbacks in the 2025 class.
The four-star cornerback and top 150 player in the 2025 class has three official visits scheduled this summer, but recruiting experts believe the Aggies are the clear leaders. He will visit Texas A&M on June 7, then head to Texas and Oklahoma State in the coming weeks.
Sellers is the No. 124 overall recruit and 247Sports’ 14th-best cornerback and hails from near Pearland, Texas.
Texas A&M has 10 players in the 2025 class, led by five-star quarterback prospect Huthan Longstreet. They have three other four-star commitments and feature the No. 11 pick in the 2025 recruiting class before the official visiting season begins.
