Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has said that every political party has its own DNA and that the Bharatiya Janata Party is essentially “anti-South India”, adding that the Prime Minister’s direct intervention will not allow investment in the southern state. He claimed that there were even attempts to reduce the office.

“If a multinational company wants to invest in any state in south India, the PMO will directly threaten them and take away their investment,” Reddy, who is in Karnataka to campaign for the assembly elections, told reporters here on Sunday. An order will be issued,” he said. Gujarat. That’s the ripple effect we’re hoping for. ”

Portfolio allocation

He claimed that “discrimination” against the South was evident in the denial of not only constitutional posts but also all major portfolios to South Indians. “The Bharatiya Janata Party’s thinking is that there is no need to give much weight to South Indian leadership. They think nominal representation is sufficient,” he said.

“How many cabinet-level ministers in this government are from South India?…The president, the vice president, the chairman or even the party president are all from north India,” Reddy pointed out, always from north India. he claimed. There is always a better balance when Congress is in power. “Discrimination continues, but no one in the party has the courage to speak out. Anyone who becomes even slightly stronger will be sent home.”

“Does not exceed 220”

Reddy predicted that the BJP would not win more than 220 seats across India and said it would win “up to 20” of the 131 seats in southern India. “If you take the liberty of guessing that Karnataka will get 13-14 seats and Telangana 3-4 seats, Andhra Pradesh might be one of them, but nothing else will come from the entire South. ”, citing states where the Bharatiya Janata Party has already won the maximum number of seats. The BJP’s own MPs are currently undermining each other in contesting the Lok Sabha polls, he added.

“Every drug, no matter how good, has an expiry date…Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s guarantee is over…all election speeches in 2014 and 2019 and all parliamentary polls in between; Look at what I’m talking about now. Please tell me if there’s a difference between the two.”

“If anyone believes that they are bigger than this system, nature will teach them a lesson. It is happening here too,” the Telangana Chief Minister said. He said this election is all about “whether the people want Mr. Modi to become the speaker or if they want him to step down.” Regarding the push for “one nation, one election”, Reddy said the agenda was actually “one nation, one party, one people” and the rest was for show.
