Ithaca, New York, April 18, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Cornell University Regional Economic Development Center (CREA) invites food innovators with early-stage ideas for value-added dairy products to apply to the next group. dairy runwaya free entrepreneurship program focused on early product concepts and customer discovery.
Launched last year in partnership with Tohoku Dairy Food Research Center (NEDFRC)’s program offers prototype development training and one-on-one business coaching, plus a free virtual curriculum.
Food innovators with early-stage ideas for value-added dairy products using New York state milk are invited to apply to Dairy Runway’s next cohort.

The five-week Daily Runway course combines self-directed online learning activities with Zoom-based class meetings and one-on-one instructor check-ins. Virtual classes will include discussions with industry experts ranging from creative marketing agencies to established retailers.
Participants who complete the virtual course will advance to the fully funded Kitchen Incubator phase of the program. Cornell University Test product formulations and develop prototypes with support from food processing facilities and technical experts from Cornell Food Science. This technical training is combined with his one-on-one business coaching from Cornell University’s Entrepreneur in Residence.

Since its launch last year, the Daily Runway program has supported two groups of food entrepreneurs in the early stages of developing a variety of products. From flavored milks to savory yogurts, the range reflects growing consumer interest in new dairy products.
