From beautiful beaches to creative cuisine, florida gulf coast It is a hot spot for the hospitality and tourism industry. This Thursday, April 18th, from 4 to 7 p.m., the inaugural 26th Annual West Food and Wine Festival will be held at Florida State University in Bradenton, defining our community. Celebrate local businesses and entrepreneurs.
The festival will be held at the 26 West Entrepreneurship Center on SCF’s Bradenton campus. The center offers SCF students countless educational opportunities in business, entrepreneurship, and technology, and a portion of the festival proceeds will help students earn a two-year Associate of Science degree in hospitality. Contributions will be made to available SCF Hospitality and Tourism Program scholarships. And sightseeing. “At 26 West Entrepreneurship Center, we’re all about entrepreneurship, so this festival will feature over 30 local entrepreneurs in the hospitality industry,” says Kim Richmond, director of 26 West Entrepreneurship Center. .
Before entering the center, you will pass through a beer garden hosted by Lamborghini Sarasota. Enjoy craft beers from Three Daughters Brewing, Motorworks Brewery and Gold Coast Eagle Distributing. On the center’s main floor, browse vendor booths and sample their wares. “The main floor features some local favorites, including Oak & Stone and Mean Dean’s Local Kitchen,” adds Richmond. “Hospitality companies such as The Chateau Anna Maria, Pineapple Kitchen, Fiorelli Winery, and Amuse 5 Bakery will also be in attendance, so there will be a wide variety of hospitality entrepreneurs. You will be able to move from booth to booth and sample beer. But whether it’s wine or food, we’ll have samples of everything.For $10 admission, it’s a real bargain.”The event also features live music and a photo booth, making it fun and engaging for everyone. It’s going to be a great night.
Richmond looks forward to SCF staff, faculty, and the surrounding community experiencing the festival. “This is a way to creatively showcase entrepreneurs, because here at 26 West Entrepreneurship Center we like to think of ourselves as always being innovative. We believe that innovation also includes technology; “We think it’s more than that,” she says. “What better way than to open our doors to the entire community and allow everyone to participate and experience some truly amazing local entrepreneurs?”
