Core & Main (CNM) ended the most recent trading day at $51.22, marking a +0.75% change from the previous day’s close. The stock outperformed the S&P 500, which posted a 0.55% gain on the day. At the same time, the Dow gained 0.62%, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq added 0.63%.

Shares of the distributor of flood and fire protection products have lost 0.41% over the past month, lagging behind the Business Services sector’s gain of 0.56% and the S&P 500’s gain of 4.28%.

Investors will be keen to watch Core & Main’s performance in its upcoming earnings disclosure, as the company is expected to report EPS of $0.73, representing a 10.61% increase over the prior-year quarter, while the latest consensus estimate is calling for revenue of $2.03 billion, representing a 9.04% increase over the prior-year quarter.

Looking at the full fiscal year, our Zacks Consensus Estimates are projecting earnings of $2.32 per share and revenue of $7.47 billion, which would represent changes of +7.91% and +11.42%, respectively, from the prior year.
