Veteran-owned businesses and veterans looking to start a business are invited to attend the Central Texas Entrepreneur Summit at Lampsus on July 23, 2024. The Texas Veterans Commission (TVC) will provide certification and benefits for veteran-owned businesses, as well as assistance with business development and employee recruitment.
The event will feature a panel discussion where entrepreneurs will share their startup stories, as well as sessions on marketing, branding and sales. TVC Entrepreneur Programs will provide a presentation on becoming a certified veteran-owned business, including fee and tax exemption benefits and veteran-owned business branding perks. Additionally, TVC Veterans Employment Services will be on hand to build partnerships with businesses to increase employment opportunities for veterans.
The event is open to entrepreneurs, veterans and civilians alike and will take place from 9 a.m. to noon at the Jack Calvert City Hall, 302 E. 3rd St. in Lampasas. Those interested can register here. Click here for details .
The Central Texas Entrepreneurship Summit is hosted by the Jane Nelson Women’s Leadership Institute at Texas Woman’s University, Texas A&M University-Central Texas, Lampasas County Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center, Lampasas Economic Development Corporation, Central Texas Workforce Solutions, the Central Texas Council of Governments and the Texas Veterans’ Affairs Commission.
