High school seniors and seniors interested in business should apply now

Are you a high school junior or senior who wants to get into business? Spend a few days at Indiana University Northwest learning entrepreneurial and management concepts from business experts and sharing ideas with local business leaders.

Indiana University Northwest’s College of Business and Economics’ Business Academy is currently enrolling students for the NextGen Entrepreneurship Camp, held in collaboration with the Northwest Indiana Black Chamber of Commerce. The program is sponsored by Strack & Van Til, People’s Bank and Nipsco.

Next Generation Entrepreneur Camp
Classes: July 18 and July 22-25, 10:00am to 2:30pm
Pitch Competition: July 27th, 2pm

This multi-day camp, open to high school seniors, introduces budding business leaders to the concepts of entrepreneurship and management, culminating in a pitch competition where each team presents their business idea and plan to a panel of local business leaders.

Camping is free, but space is limited and registration is required.

“For decades, Indiana University Northwest’s School of Business and Economics has supported the local business community by providing expertise and resources to entrepreneurs and small business owners in Northwest Indiana,” said Jana Shostek, director of the Business Academy. “We are proud to expand our programs to support local youth aspiring to become the region’s future business leaders.”
