Jesse Jane was found unconscious in the Oklahoma home of her boyfriend, Brett Hasenmueller, after the two died of drug overdoses.
Adult film star Jesse Jane died of a fentanyl and cocaine overdose in January 2024, according to an autopsy report. Her body was found in a deteriorated state. The actress, whose real name was Cindy Taylor or Cynthia Ann Howell, was found unresponsive at the Oklahoma home of her boyfriend, Brett Hasenmuller, on Jan. 24, 2024. Hasenmuller, 33, was also found dead at the scene, according to reports.
An autopsy conducted by the Oklahoma State Medical Examiner’s Office determined the cause of death was acute fentanyl and cocaine intoxication. The report released Sunday said Jane’s body was in an advanced state of decomposition, indicating she had been dead before her body was discovered, TMZ reported. The couple were discovered after police arrived at their home following a request from Hasenmuller’s boss to check on them.

In a 2018 interview with GQ, Jane said, “I got into porn at the perfect time, when porn stars were a thing. Porn stars back then were famous and glamorous. You walked into a room and got people’s attention. They knew who you were because everyone had to buy your merch and your DVDs and everything. Porn was very naughty, but everyone was watching. Now, no one is making money from toy deals or even appearances like they did back then.”
She also said, “The adult industry is not the same anymore. Don’t get me wrong, I still love porn. But the internet is slowly killing the industry and turning everything into shocking stuff. I am known for being crazy with my scenes. I used to work on a project by project basis and if it was something sexy or with friends, I was absolutely happy to do it. I miss it! Performing in front of the camera was always fun.”
